Biography

Ross Edwards (born in 1981 in England, United Kingdom) is a singer songwriter & musician who picked up a guitar at the age of 14 and since then he has been in numerous Indie bands. One of them being 'Seven year Itch' where Ross led as front man and wrote all their songs. In 2001 the band split and Ross decided to go solo after finding it hard to cope with the daily issues of running a band. Some of his songs from his band days lived on to make it to his solo albums including 'Requiem' and 'Running out of time'. The bands main anthem was the song 'It's Not my fault' which is yet to feature on any official release.

In 2008, After 7 years away from music Ross began a new project recording his first studio album 'REQUIEM' using a different kind of sound featuring piano, orchestra and guitar with some inspirational lyrics and catchy melodies.

All of the songs from the album are Inspired by real people. The album features the hugely popular and inspirational track 'THE SOLDIER' which was very well received by a worldwide audience. The album was released in August 2009.

Due to the success of the debut album 'REQUIEM' Ross began to record his second installment entitled 'HUMAN RESISTANCE'. The album features the anthems 'Signs', 'Liars always run' and 'It's over'. This album was officially released in 2010 and again proved very popular with the fans.

Ross believes that true talent makes a great artist. As time moves forward the envelope is pushed. Music of past was judged by the heart, not by the size of a stage. It’s time the heart and soul is put back in the words that move us.

The next album 'BETWEEN THE LINES' is now available to pre-order.
